These terms are an agreement between you and Plasma Works ("we", "us") for the use of the Prayer Unlock mobile application. By installing or using the app you accept them.

What Prayer Unlock does

Prayer Unlock helps you build a daily prayer habit by pausing access to apps you choose to lock until you complete a prayer. You select which apps to lock and when; the app never blocks anything you did not ask it to.

Subscription, trial, and billing

Prayer Unlock offers a yearly subscription of $24.99/year with a 3-day free trial, or a weekly subscription of $4.99/week. Prices may vary by country; the exact price in your currency is always shown by Google Play or the App Store before you confirm.
Billing is handled entirely by Google Play or the Apple App Store on their terms. We never receive your payment details.
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancel anytime in your store account's subscription settings; cancelling during the free trial means you are never charged.
Refunds are governed by Google Play's and Apple's refund policies. Where those policies allow a refund, request it through the store.

Generated prayers are a devotional aid

Prayers and verse suggestions in the app are generated with the help of an AI language model and curated Scripture (World English Bible). They are offered as a devotional aid to support your own prayer life. They are not pastoral counsel, professional advice, or a substitute for your church community, a pastor, or — where relevant — medical or mental-health care.

App blocking is best-effort

The blocking feature relies on operating-system mechanisms that vary by device and OS version. It is a habit aid, not a guarantee: system settings, OS updates, or unusual device configurations can interfere with it. Do not rely on Prayer Unlock as a parental-control, security, or safety-critical tool.

Acceptable use

You agree not to abuse the service — including attempting to overload or reverse-engineer the prayer-generation service, circumvent rate limits, or use the app in violation of applicable law or the stores' terms.

Intellectual property

The app, its artwork, and its content are ours or licensed to us. Scripture quotations are from the World English Bible (public domain). We grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app on your own devices. Prayers saved to your journal are yours to keep and share.

Warranty and liability

The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law. To the same extent, our total liability for any claim arising from the app is limited to the amount you paid for your subscription in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Termination and changes

You can stop using the app and cancel your subscription at any time. We may update the app and these terms; material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date, and continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, without affecting any consumer protections that apply in your country of residence.
